With “stars in their eyes”, Erin and Clancy were destined to throw an amazing celebration of love for their beautiful Baja wedding.
The two met in Sonoma on a fateful night when Erin was attending a friend’s bachelorette party, and Clancy was there attending another friend’s wedding. A gaze across the room, a cozy bar, and the rest was history.
Originally planning to have their destination wedding in Costa Rica, Erin and Clancy’s plan took a turn down the Baja peninsula to the famed Acre Baja, a charming farm-to-table restaurant and event venue in San Jose del Cabo.
Acre Baja provided lush tropical ambiance for the intimate outdoor ceremony and romantic lighting for the reception under the stars. “We really didn’t need much more, just our closest friends and family,” Erin said when describing the couple’s big day.
Her bridesmaids wore dark emerald dresses and the groomsmen looked handsome in navy blue suits. After the beautiful ceremony guests found their seats with hand painted agate slices atop the gorgeous place settings. The couple chose food and cocktails that were as decadent and rich as the color palette.
“Since this was a destination wedding in Cabo, much of our planning was through email and phone chats with Bonnie. Using a timeline of tasks helped to nail down each concept to make our wedding planning a fun and exciting experience. Since we couldn’t physically make on site visits it was dream-like to visualize how it was all going to come together,” Erin said.
